Bearchild is the solo project of Deep Pockets guitarist Justin Williams, former member of Gracer. The project started in 2008 after Williams split ways with his previous band. At first Bearchild was just an acoustic guitar in a basement with no aspirations beyond the desire to write good songs and an appreciation for acoustic music. Here we are with the most recent effort, a full-length titled, "Wishing Well". This time including a full band with members of Fellow Project, Ghost & Bones and more. Absolutely phenomenal album.

Bearchild is the solo project of Deep Pockets guitarist Justin Williams, former member of Gracer. The project started in 2008 after Williams split ways with his previous band. At first Bearchild was just an acoustic guitar in a basement with no aspirations beyond the desire to write good songs and an appreciation for acoustic music. In 2011, after a few years of basement recordings, Bearchild released a 3 song demo and began playing shows in the long island and NYC area. In early 2013 Williams entered the studio with producer/engineer Ian Bryn (Fellow Project/Bridge N' Tunnel) to release "Freedom Songs". Here we are with the most recent effort, a full-length titled, "Wishing Well". This time including a full band with members of Fellow Project, Ghost & Bones and more. Absolutely phenomenal album. Recommended.
