  1. CRIMINAL CODE- "Hollowed" 7" EP

    CRIMINAL CODE- "Hollowed" 7" EP

    $6.00

Follow up to their excellent 12”. Full length in the works for 2013. Three new moody hardcore tracks. It used to be easy to describe Criminal Code. From the onset, they came across as straightforward sounding mid 80s Midwest hardcore styled three piece with Taiga on guitar Andrew handling the basslines. Hook filled and moodily earnest, proudly wielding a love for Husker Du. Crim Code quickly became favorites of the Northwest hardcore scene. After a handful of west coast tours and a couple of limited self released rarities, Crim Code added Miles on second guitar and Jawsh on drums.... This is where the comparisons to other acts ends. 2. HOLY SHIT! / TURD HUNGRY CHRIST- Split 7"EP

HOLY SHIT! / TURD HUNGRY CHRIST- Split 7"EP

    $5.00

"This is by far the most sacreligious thing i've ever had a part in releasing, and the cover only makes it worse. 13 furiously fast thrash metal songs total. Holy Shit! is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and this was first material they ever recorded. Nothing but pure fast thrash, hardcore. Turd Hungry Christ are from Chattanooga, Tennessee and feature members of Hidden Spots, Jack Palance Band, ADD/C, Future Virgins, Giant Bags Of Weed and more! That doesn't matter much because Turd Hungry Christ doesn't sound like any of the other bands these guys have ever been in. This is a purely a thrash metal side project at its best, fun fact: The Jesus on the cover later went to run for mayor and Eric Nelson still hasn't given a copy of this record to his parents. I don't blame him either." No Breaks Records. Learn More

  10. BOWS- "Neverunite" 7"EP

    BOWS- "Neverunite" 7"EP

    $6.00

3 track Black Vinyl 7" Limited to 300 copies. Bows are a new(ish) band from Japan who follow in the tradition of fellow countrymen Minority Blues Band, I Excuse, The Urchin, etc in celebrating their love of the mighty Leatherface. The 3 songs on this 7" are no copycat material though, bows bring something different to the party. A recent translation from their native tongue describes their sound as being full of "bursty burst codes and delicate side dishes" and, while I won't pretend to know what that means, I think the words hint at some of the raw energy and fragile melancholy on offer here. But "fragile" in the very punkest of sense of course. Check out bows today and discover your new favourite Japanese band: brassneckrecords.bandcamp.com/album/neverunite JAPAN IMPORT! Learn More
