Gruff melodic punk meets rough country punk! I don't know if I told Todd and Daryl this story or if it's just that obvious, but here is what Razorcake said about this record. "This is the kind of split you can only imagine was conceptualized in the middle of a long "fest" weekend. Sometimes being surrounded by drunk buffons can give you the best ideas." Well, it was October 2008. Tampa, Fl. I was standing on the front lawn at the Basement House sharing a beer or 20 with Jesse Thorson and Rawn Anchor. I drunkenly pitched the idea of a PBT/Anchor split. Two years later it finally happened. Each band provides two songs, an orignal and a cover. Pretty Boy Thorson decided to cover Cocksparrer while the Anchor chose to cover Pretty Boy Thorson. Not sure I'd classify this idea as "good" but it's certainly a fun record. Limited on Mint Green vinyl!
