The album by After School Special — featuring the late David Jones of the Lookout–Panic Button band Enemy You — is being reissued on June 30 by Something to Do Records of Seattle. The self-titled AFS album first appeared in 1997 as a Mutant Pop CD, the second one I did. STD labeldude Matthew Ostrom has been working closely with the two surviving band members. They had the thing remastered, and are bringing it out as Double CD and an LP. The CD version includes a bonus track and a second disc with the demo versions of the entire release. It's a gorgeous package, new comic cover, and I hope STD is able to introduce the immensely talented David Jones to a new generation.
