DELAY- "Plain Language" LP

Delay's sixth full length blitzes by, leaving you dizzy with thinking-person's melodies. If you thought you knew this Ohio band, this record deserves a close listen. The band have learned to squeeze a ton out of the bare bones three-piece with beautifully crafted guitar lines, and harmonies bouncing back and forth. It's sometimes a loaded statement to say a pop-punk band has matured, but 2009 was a good vintage for Delay.
